MAX IV is looking for an expert to cover the areas of biology, chemistry, medicine or a related area with own experience of research using a research infrastructure like a synchrotron, free electron laser or a neutron source.
The new director will take over the position from the present Life Sciences Director (Tomas Lundqvist) who is moving to a new position at Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) where he will be part of facilitating the use of synchrotrons and neutron facilities in industry related research and innovation.
The person will closely collaborate with the newly appointed Physical Sciences Director (Ian McNulty), who is now starting work at MAX IV.
