The Tobias Foundation was established in 1992 with the purpose “to support the establishment of a Swedish bone marrow/stem cell registry and to support research concerning diseases that can be treated with bone marrow/stem cell transplantation”.
On 8th May, in celebration of the Tobias Foundation’s 25 year Jubilee, the Strategic Research Area StemTherapy, together with the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University and The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences are holding a symposium on The Scientific and Ethical Challenges in Bone Marrow Transplantation.
