KLIMATET (“THE CLIMATE”) is a new series of seminars presented by the Environmental Council in collaboration with the Sahlgrenska Academy Students for Sustainability (SASS), the Network for the integration of sustainable development in education, Doctors for the Environment and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
Rasmus Einarsson is a PhD student at Chalmers who does research on how agriculture contributes to a wide range of environmental problems, including eutrophication, pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. In this talk, we take a closer at the food’s emissions of the three main greenhouse gases and discuss the solutions available in our diet, and in agricultural production systems. We will also discuss the importance of asking the “right” questions in order not to get lost among the conflicting messages that are sometimes heard in the debate.
We offer a vegan wrap from Groovy Foods for the first 50 audience!
