Jakob Åsberg Johnels, at Gillbergcentrum and University of Gothenburg, is granted SEK 1.2 million from Lennart “Aktiestinsen” Israelsson Research Foundation. In his study he will investigate whether children with dyslexia are looking more closely at others’ mouths to decode speach. The Fund is managed by Royal Academy of Sciences, and is a legacy of Lennart “Aktiestinsen” Israelsson who became famous by building a very large fortune on stock shares. In recent years, he gave away much of his wealth to research and education.
