Welcome to a lunch seminar on how to use Wikipedia as a tool for research communication.
The seminar is held in English.

Wikipedia is one of the top ten most visited sites in the world. Wikipedia can be used to easily spread research results and reach a large audience.
The main lecturer at the seminar is Olle Terenius, a Malaria researcher from Uppsala University, who tours Swedish universities to encourage researchers to make Wikipedia a current and accurate source of information in a world full of fake news.
Oskar Broberg, researcher in Economics at University of Gothenburg, will also share his experiences in the Wikimedia Project.
Communications Officers Annika Koldenius (GU) and Anita Fors (Chalmers), will summerize the support available available at the University of Gothenburg / Chalmers for researchers and Communications Officers who want to start using Wikipedia as a tool for research communication.
