On September 14, Professor Christopher Gillberg gave the Second Mary Coleman lecture “Autism from A to Z”, in front of a full house. The film from the lecture is now available. In the lecture, Christopher Gillberg explains what autism is – and what it is not. He also guides the audience through genetic factors towards treatment, through epidemiology and diagnosis. He concludes by arguing why it is meaningless to try to research autism without further specification.
The Mary Coleman lecture was introduced two years ago with the aim of highlighting outstanding researchers in autism and similar areas.
