The university is now commencing a new and comprehensive quality evaluation of the university’s research and research environments. The forthcoming research evaluation is called RED19, isa follow-up on the previous evaluation RED10. The new evaluation concentrates more on the conditions that enable and create research environments and high-end research. The background information is compiled during spring 2018, including bibliometry, personnel and financial data, relevant management and strategy documents, and self-evaluation. In 2019, external assessors evaluate the material and also make site visits. The RED19 report is presented in summer 2019, and will provide development recommendations that will be transformed into action plans.
