The World Health Organization, WHO, identifies antibiotic resistance as a global challenge that threatens human health. Ethical issues and conflicts of values constitute a major part of this challenge as problems are encountered on every possible level, such as decisions concerning food consumption, clinical health and food production. In November 2017, the first major international conference on this subject was organized by the Center for Antibiotics Research (CARE). The conference gathered world-leading researchers from a range of disciplines, such as economics, philosophy, and medicine. Here you can see a program overview with links to the respective seminar.
