Last spring, more than a million people marched for science all over the world. On April 14, 2018, March For Science will be highlighted again, under the parole Science Marches On. In Sweden, a “How-Do-You-Know-That”-Campaign is planned, in order to raise awareness among politicians and the public about what science is, how research is done, how different research findings can be evaluated and why research-based knowledge is needed as a basis for decision making. The aim is that scientific facts should be be highlighted more than before when political proposals are debated during the election year 2018.
