Large majority voted to approve the policy group’s proposal

SELECTION OF VICE-CHANCELLOR. An overwhelming majority of voters accepted the policy group’s proposal regarding Sahlgrenska Academy’s representation in the consultative assembly. As such, the 14 people who will represent the Academy in the process of appointing a new vice-chancellor have been selected. In an interdisciplinary collaboration between medicine and odontology, researchers were able to analyze and present data collected over the last twenty years at both the Oral Medicine and Pathology section and the Endocrinology section. International clinical study on reconstructive surgical therapy of periimplantitis to start

CONTRIBUTION. In an international competition, researchers at the Institute of Odontology have received the first Large Clinical Grant, awarded by the Osteology Foundation in Switzerland. Headed by Tord Berglundh, researchers at six European research centers will collaborate to evaluate the significance of using bone replacement material in patients operated on for bone defects caused by peri-implantitis.
