The IT attack: The prognosis is that February salary will be paid

31 January, 2024

There is currently no exact information on when Primula will be available again. The National Government Service Centre (Statens Servicecenter) has drawn up a plan for a gradual start-up, which means that salary consultants at the National Government Service get access to the system in the first place to be able to process cases in the system. Then customer authorities are released in stages. When the University of Gothenburg receives a signal that Primula is working again, internal work will be carried out to take certain security measures. The National Government Service has communicated that Primula is expected to be sufficiently recovered that the February salary will be paid. As a preventive measure, both the National Government Service and the university are preparing to activate a reserve salary routine should the need arise.
