New national web portal for student health

15 January, 2024

On January 15, the website studenthälsa.se is launched, which was developed in collaboration between Stockholm University, the University and Higher Education Council (UHR) and Linköping University on behalf of the government. At studenthälsa.se, students at colleges and universities, regardless of form of study and university, get tips and advice to feel better. The portal is a supplement to, not a replacement for, the student health services at the country’s universities. In the web portal, Swedish and international students in Sweden can take part in factual texts, events and recorded material.

Prize for internationalization – you can nominate during February 2024

7 January, 2024

In 2017, Sweden’s medical faculties jointly established a prize for the internationalization of higher education at basic and advanced level. The purpose of the award is to encourage teachers and teaching teams and other teaching staff at the medical faculties to work for increased internationalization within the educations. A nomination committee at each medical faculty selects its local candidate for the award. The proposals are presented to the central prize committee, which finally appoints prize winners. The award is decided and announced at the annual dean’s meeting in the spring. The dean’s meeting 2024 will be held on 11-12 April.
